AECOM Singapore is seeking to find an Associate, Sustainability within the Building Engineering Department' sustainability team. Reporting to an Associate Director, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide technical support in commercial bid submissions and lead projects independently and deliver technical solutions to design and client team. The successful candidate should be familiar with Singapore's sustainability regulations and codes.

Job Description

We are seeking to find an Associate, Sustainability within the Building Engineering Department' sustainability team. Reporting to an Associate Director, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide technical support in commercial bid submissions and lead projects independently and deliver technical solutions to design and client team. The successful candidate should be familiar with Singapore's sustainability regulations and codes.

  • Possess knowledge of environmental design, and green building rating tools [LEED, Green Mark, WELL, Smart Score, True Waste, LEAF, ILFI, etc.].

  • Conversant with environmental simulations such as energy modelling, daylight analysis, CFD, life cycle carbon analysis.

  • Support the allocation and management of project resources and understand current project resource requirements.

  • Assist to provide technical support in commercial bid submissions.

  • Technical knowledge of project work coupled with an understanding of project management tools.

  • Conduct regular team meetings creating a platform for team members to raise issues and share knowledge.

  • Lead projects independently and deliver technical solutions to design and client team.

  • Lead pro-active coordination with internal and external disciplines to achieve a high-quality consistent set of presentation and design documents.

  • Proactively check and coordinate project documents (including but not limited to multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, technical specifications, etc.).

  • Conversant with project’s contractual requirements and deliver high quality deliverables in established schedule.

  • Familiarity with local sustainability regulations and codes. Able and motivated to update skills and expertise through continuing professional development (CPD) initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a field related to building engineering, sustainability, architecture.

  • Minimum 9 years of experience within sustainability consulting or building engineering.

  • Possess minimum three green building accreditations, such as Green Mark AP [required], LEED AP [required], WELL AP [required], TRUE Advisor [desired], WiredScore AP [desired].

  • Successful track record of delivering local and international projects in the built environment.

  • Effectively multitask and work collaboratively with internal and external disciplines.

  • Experience in energy modelling, daylight analysis, CFD, parametric modelling, life cycle carbon analysis, and ESG.

  • Software skills in AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, IES VE, Adobe, One-Click LCA, Ansys, Star-CCM, OpenFOAM
