Job Description
This is an existing permanent full time role that will see you learn hands on as part of our experienced Transport team, while studying a degree, to become a Civil Designer.
You will be part of the team delivering the engineering design and documentation for exciting and important infrastructure projects across our region and others within the ANZ business. You will build your design capability through experience through projects involving roads, bridges, water infrastructure and renewable energy for major clients.
About the Role
Contribute to the team of drafters/designers in the compilation of models, drawings and documentation using industry leading software from providers such as Autodesk and Bentley
Undertake quantity calculations to generate bill of quantities
Assist in the management of design documentation files
Be part of an experienced and professional multidisciplinary team delivering project outcomes
Work full time in a permanent role
Study externally through the University of Southern Queensland Australia (USQ) an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (4-year part time course) with financial support from the business
Qualifications
Successful applicants will need to meet the enrolment requirements into an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Qld.

Townsville is one of seven AECOM Queensland based offices.
Our 80 dedicated staff in the Townsville office provide engineering/design and project delivery services in the fields of Transport, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Geotechnical, Water and Project and Construction Management.

The successful applicant will need to meet the enrolment requirements for an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering through the University of Southern Queensland (see www.unisq.edu.au/study/degrees/associate-degree-of-engineering/civil-engineering).
