AS a result of several ongoing significant project wins and a significant pipeline of work across, we have a number of opportunities for Civil Engineers, Site Engineers and Contract Administrators.
Typically, the projects include Transport and Main Roads (TMR) road remediation/upgrade and new, local government capital delivery (civil, roads, infrastructure) and Disaster Recovery.
Job Description
AECOM’s multidisciplinary teams across Queensland Regional Locations, including Gympie, Cairns, Rockhampton, Townsville and Mackay, are looking for expressions of interest to support the delivery of a multi-year design and construction contracts. There are various full-time employee opportunities, alongside contracting opportunities available for independent contractors, timesheet contractors, or fixed term contract ranging from 18-24 months in duration.

Contract Administrators
Site Inspectors
Project Engineers
Document Controllers
Site Engineers
Superintendents’ Representatives
Qualifications
Due to the nature of the work, it would be ideal for suitable candidates to hold some of the following:
Relevant Qualifications (Bachelor of Engineering for CA or Engineering roles)
Experience in project delivery & site construction.
Proven project experience in civil infrastructure, construction, building works or water infrastructure and ability to be based in Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay or Cairns.
Confident communication technique with an ability to coordinate and operate across complex stakeholder groups.
An excellent and proven understanding of Australian Standards and Policies.
Knowledge of Australian Government transport infrastructure standards with (ideally) a TMR prequalification (desirable) or knowledge of VIC Roads, Transport for NSW, Main Roads WA etc.
Ability and interest in gaining TMR accreditation.
NDRRA experience working with the QRA
RPEQ Registered Engineer (holding or eligible / on the pathway to obtain)
