Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sydney, Australia. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing various infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
Develop and implement civil engineering designs for a wide range of projects, including buildings, roads and water systems.
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications and calculations using advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors and other engineers, to ensure project success.
Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively to meet client expectations.
Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Analyse and resolve complex engineering problems using innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in civil engineering.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team.
Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather requirements and monitor project progress.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Sydney and Australia
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Additional Information
Salary range - $85,000 + $105,000 (Total package, dependent on experience)
