Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architect for immediate employment in our Sydney office.

This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary practice focused on high-performing landscapes that address climate change, interconnectivity and mobility, smart growth, ecological systems, and natural resources.

We are looking for a passionate Landscape Architect who is energised by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

Help manage all phases of landscape architecture projects, from initial concept through construction, including:

  • Preparing design graphics and technical drawings;

  • Collaborate to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and align with project goals;

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success;

  • Work with team members to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery;

  • Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets;

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality project outcomes;

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired,

  • Qualified to degree level in Landscape Architecture, or similar Master’s degree, from and accredited institution;

  • 2-5 years of experience in Landscape Architecture;

  • Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Graphic suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), as well as MS Office Suite is required;

  • Basic experience in 3D modelling packages (3D AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Lumion) is advantageous.
