AECOM Entry Level Civil Engineer in Williamsport, Pennsylvania

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer for employment in the Williamsport, PA office. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for performing grading and drainage designs, preparing stormwater management and erosion control plan drawings, completing supporting calculations and analyses, and preparing permit application packages for a range of project types, including large energy-related and environmental projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models, Civil3D and stormwater management design software such as HydroCAD).
U.S. citizenship required
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred (not required)
Strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
