Job Description
AECOM Canada is searching for an Environmental EIT for a full-time position based at Winnipeg.
Exhibiting personal safety leadership in the oversight and execution of all work.
Conducting field work for multi-disciplinary assessment, remediation and monitoring projects including hydraulic conductivity testing, groundwater monitoring/sampling, drilling and soil logging, confirmatory sampling, equipment management, and detailed site assessments.
Conducting field planning including equipment and staffing plans, safety planning, and sampling plans.
Contributing to reporting including data entry/management and preparing technical reports.
Working within a diverse team of engineers, agrologists, geologists, scientists, and project mangers.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering (Civil, Chemical, Environmental etc.) or sciences discipline (Environmental Sciences, etc.).
Environmental consulting experience, specifically Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments and remediation projects in Manitoba.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer, Geologist or Agrologist in Manitoba.
Ability to apply environmental quality guidelines to data collected from various media and land uses.
Experience working on remediation projects including familiarity with environmental quality guidelines.
Experience working with municipalities and other industries considered an asset.
Experience with EQuIS, ArcGIS and other digital data platforms considered an asset.
Experience developing and implementing project scheduling, monitoring, and tracking systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrated effectiveness in building working relationships and participating in multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
Can-do, positive attitude and an ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Valid Driver's License
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $62,000.00 - $68,000.00.
